10-Minutes of Backbends | Strengthen Your Back With These 5 Yoga Poses

- An intense workout of basic yoga postures to strengthen your back, but with more emphasis on greater range of motion - great for intermediate users.
Poses:
1. Hands to thighs - Hands to thighs stretch is great for individuals looking to incorporate a simple yet effective exercise into their routine to improve both core stability and back flexibility
2. Elevated bridge - This pose is great for intermediate to advanced yoga practitioners looking to add variety and challenge to their practice. Beginners should start with a traditional bridge pose to build up strength and flexibility before attempting an elevated version.
3. Plank to Plank Pikes - This exercise targets various muscle groups, including the abdominals, shoulders, arms, and back
4. Cobra with deeper arch - This pose is known for its backbend that strengthens the spine, opens the chest, and improves flexibility.
5. Standing Back Bend - This posture is extremely effective for strengthening the core and spine, and for improving spinal mobility. Use it in the morning to wake up with an energy boost. Standing backbend is also great before a workout to activate your core and warm up your spine.

When doing out the last pose..when our hands are above the shoulder,my hands go asleep there(in hindi we say it "jhunjhuni". Is it a bad sign..I can straighten my arms no problem,just that arm sleeping behind my ears,all the way to my fingers..please shed some light on that is it's a bad thing, and if it is,what can I do to rectify it? Hey Dean, Love your work and been following you for years. Can I please ask, Do you have any workouts here that are for someone who has fractured their spine? 9 weeks ago I had an epilepsy seizure in my sleep and woke to find my t9 and T11 back bones/spine had 3 fractures on them. I'm a huge fan of your styleand have recommended your age to countless people. I just wanted to know if you have any videos to help with the stenghening of my back, esp the T9 and T11 areas. Awesome workout, Dean. You balance on your right foot twice, but not your left foot. Is that intentional? Should we switch legs at some point?

This is the best video I found for this issue. I appreciate the time you guys took to put this together. I believe my pelvic floor issue started from squatting wrong and also improperly leg pressing heavy weight. I'd really like to.get back into core workouts but afraid it may make things worse. Any recommendations on overactive pelvic floor safe core exercises?
